Work · who I am
Precision automation, now as practical AI
I’ve spent years automating complex workflows where the numbers had to be right. Through Vickery Machine Logic I build the next step: Python, SQL, and local AI agents that take that same kind of work off your plate — with a few sharp proofs below, not a catalog.

Background
Ops discipline meeting builder tools
Someone who has run exacting business work — and now builds the agents and apps that take that work off your plate.
For 10+ years I owned high-stakes US payroll, tax, and benefits for thousands of employees across many states — full-cycle processing, compliance, and GL work that had to be right under audit. That taught a lasting habit: automate complex workflows that require precision, with Excel, Power Query, and VBA that cut hundreds of manual hours, plus SOPs so the work survived turnover.
At Vickery Machine Logic I apply that same habit in Python, SQL, and local AI: private knowledge agents, training-video builders, scheduled data collectors, recruiting intelligence hubs, and a Services menu for the recurring jobs that eat a week. The apps below are ones I built myself — proof of what I can ship on hardware you own, with little or no token cost. If you’re stuck in copy-paste hell or “we should use AI but don’t know where,” tell me the job.

01 · Knowledge
Private knowledge agent
Ask questions of your manuals, SOPs, and research — get answers with sources, not a public chatbot.
Web Researcher keeps a local corpus of the documents you care about. It answers from that material, cites where each claim came from, and can run on hardware you own so sensitive files never have to leave the building.
Useful for handbooks, private research packs, and the thick SOP folders nobody wants to dig through by hand.
- Local / graph RAG
- Claim audit
- Source citations
02 · Training video
Training & explainer videos from your content
Pick a template, set the length, voice, look, and music — then turn existing material into slide-style training without hiring production for every update.
Built for SOPs, policy refreshers, and process explainers. Choose something like Training module (slides) or Explainer, tune the style, and produce a video your team can watch — useful when the handbook changes faster than a freelancer can turn around a cut.
The third slide is a live example: a finished explainer published on YouTube.

03 · Scheduled data
Market data agent that works while you’re away
Pulls prices and history from many sources on a heartbeat, flags disagreements, and never quietly skips a broken vendor.
Built as a private desk: a home board of indices and leaders, charts with volume and SMAs, a Sources panel that marks each feed ready or unusable (with the reason), and Settings that schedule unattended jobs every few minutes — refresh prices, second-source checks, keep the record current. Proof of a scheduled multi-source agent pattern you can adapt to any vendor stack a business depends on (not just markets).

- Heartbeat jobs
- Disagreement flags
04 · Recruiting ATS
Local ATS intelligence for recruiting offices
A private recruiting hub — skill gaps, market intelligence, and dual agents — running with local models so candidate and employer data stays in-house.
Edge ATS is built for recruiting desks that need more than a resume pile. The Analytics Hub shows the book (clients, prospects, roles, talent pool) and a knowledge graph. Skills Matrix and Market Intelligence surface where demand outruns supply. Dual agents argue both sides — Employer Advocate and Candidate Advocate — with confidential fields withheld as needed. Magic Batch Ingest drops resumes, companies, and roles into a background Graph RAG queue. Ollama online means analysis can stay local.
